As far as themes go this is the heaviest song on the album. It’s about humans and their persistent urge to measure things in their environment. Counting money and time. Where you should be after a certain amount of time of existing on this earth. It’s about watching someone die on the television and then eating a fish, washing the dishes and then closing your eyes because a machine next to your bed says 10pm.
